Art in the Park
Music & Art in
the Park is a free summer concert series held the third Friday of the month
during May, June and July. Each event is from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. at Stradley Park Place, just
north of the village’s municipal building at 36 S. High Street in downtown Canal
Winchester. Attendees are encouraged
to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating at this family-friendly event. Picnics are
also welcome; however, alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Canal Winchester’s community
center, located at 22 S. Trine Street, serves as the backup location
for all concerts in the case of inclement weather. Refreshments such as philly
cheese steaks, french fries, funnel cakes and non-alcoholic beverages will be
avaliable for purchase during the events. Bring your whole family out to enjoy the
fun!

This event features
dancers from Studio C followed by '70s cover band Agent 99. In addition to live
music and dancing, attendees will enjoy a roaming magician and balloon animals by
Miss Dee the clown. Other attractions include a police, fire, military and
construction vehicle display as well as live art demonstrations and displays by
the Canal Winchester Art Guild.

This event
features island/Buffet style music performed by the band Fortune, a roaming juggler, bounce houses and
balloon animals by Miss Dee the clown. The Canal Winchester Art Guild will also
participate in this event with live art demonstrations and displays.

This event features a cruise-in
sponsored by Bob McDorman Chevrolet and '60s/'70s band, the Gas Pump Jockeys. A
caricature artist and airbrush tatoo artist will be on site offering free
drawings and body designs. In addition, the Canal Winchester Art Guild will have
live art demonstrations and displays. Registration for the cruise-in will take
place from 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. the night of the event. Participants may pre-register
by emailing dmays@canalwinchesterohio.gov. There will be several awards handed
out at the event including People's Choice, Mayor's Choice, Band's Choice,
Sponsor's Choice and
Farthest Traveled. Dash plaques will be given to the first 50 registrants.
